If a couple say they want to meet and have a date in mind, but you ve not seen what they look like ?, even though they have verifications , is it not reasonable to request a face pic ?? Do People need to be more realistic?? And if you don t fancy them you can say ok, thanks but no thanks ?? |

"If not seeing a face pic beforehand is a dealbreaker for you, and they don't want to do that, then how did it get as far as setting a date in the first place?"
Good point ...
they ve seen me , I ve not seen them , it s not one way traffic , but its a deal breaker for me ? Im old enough to know an attraction is key to a fun time . |

It's very reasonable, as is often said on here "It's not Blind Date"! |

Jeez I'd never meet without seeing a face pic & even when I did see face pics I was still cat fished....
I now either want a live photo on k*k in a special pose that I ask them to do or else video call....

I'm not particularly bothered about facepics - BUT I do need to see something.
2 weeks ago some guy was trying to get me to agree to meet him outside but was being evasive about showing me any pics. He had several veris & was under the belief that this would be enough to get me to agree to meet him despite not having the faintest idea of what he looks like.
He was sorely mistaken. |

I don't have a facepic on here and won't share one with anyone unless we have already agreed to meet.
I've had my pic subsequently shared with too many others in the past so I just don't do it anymore.
I'm not meeting currently but when I was, I never met with the expectation that it would go any further than that initial social so physical attraction wasn't a deal breaker at that point.
I've had numerous socials without sharing facepics and it was still an enjoyable hour over coffee.
It's down to the individual and there's no hard and fast rule. |

No public face pics, plenty in our friends album and readily send at the start of a chat.
We would not even continue a conversation past a few messages if the other parties are not going to send one.
We state it on our profile, as well as we don't do blind date's!
Had plenty of 'body from Baywatch, face from crimewatch' moments.

a live pic or a video call always deters fakes ….
I’m
More than happy to send a photo on here… but even then .. how do people know that’s actually you? A lot of people ‘fear’ the idea of video call at the risk of it being a ploy to have a quick wank… but to me it allows live & up to date looks rather than the 5 years younger version or the google image finder version |
