Bad Sport on Netflix was pretty good. It's mini series about particular controversies in various disciplines of sport.
14 Peaks about mountaineers from Nepal and their record breaking attempt.
Untold Stories series have some interesting episodes too such as Crime Penalties (ice hockey team known for being bad boys - would make a great screenplay). Another one I enjoyed was about female boxer Christy Martin (episode called Deal with the devil).
I can think of few more but I believe that's a good start.

"I'm biased, but '89' is epic!
Break Point on Netflix is great too, following the tennis season.
And the Hunt v Lauda doc is brilliant but not sure what platform that's in now...
What's 89 about?"
‘89 is about the circumstances around the season finale between arsenal and Liverpool at anfield when it was winner takes all three for the league title… |

"The Deepest Breath on Netflix was good
Also loved Road, a documentary about the Dunlop family of Road racers who dominated the TT track
The Danny MacAskill story was also brilliant!
"

Drive to Survive is very good, it's actually much better than watching F1 itself.
Welcome to Wrexham is a bit of a laugh |
