We have decided for the 1st time ever to go on a cruise over Christams and New Year. 16 nights away with no shopping or cooking on an adult only ship, even better. Can't think of any downside, Can you ?? |

We both have good sea legs, I'm sure we will meet some very interesting people, don't need a car as the ship will take us to lots of interesting places, we don't have a dog, we'll think of you whilst sitting on the balcony with the sun going down sipping a glass of champaine xx |

Then there is the threat of food poisoning, piracy and a full blown sou’wester blowing billy.
I’d rather stay at home and fight it out over the Brussels sprouts in a packed Tesco, stress out over the turkey being pink in the middle, Uncle Harry getting wankard on tia Maria and declaring at the dinner table “ I am not racist but” watching the great escape for the 500th time and then getting stuck into the washing up.
Luxury cruises? Just not Christmas is it? |

cruise ships have really good stabilisers, so they barely move at all.
irritating people, not really.
they have promenade decks to walk on and gyms etc.
pretty much sleep in the cabin as there is so much to do and the places they go to.
seems like you never been on a cruise. |

As long as you don’t suffer sea sickness , can’t see any downside , why not keep your options open too , you may find extra fun aboard ship , never done a cruise but have managed extra fun on hols |
