Why look at Men and have a block on men messaging you. I have one look every 2 weeks . I want to ask him why are you looking

It's their profile and they can look if they want too.

If you don't like it, block the profile

I struggle to understand why people keep viewing profiles but there bio etc don't match they or you want.

Also the same with people viewing there blocked list

Perhaps he doesn't want to get lots of messages from men but might message some himself at times. Perhaps something you posted in Forum or a meet request caught his eye and he wanted to see if anything on your profile of interest. Perhaps he is jealous and keeping tabs on your to see if you get any action

I look at profiles when someone has made a comment in the Forum that amuses me or that I want to respond to in the Forum. I also look if they have an interesting/funny/cryptic status update.

Sometimes by the time I have started to type my comment I have completely forgotten what I read on their profile so I go back - it's an age thing, I should be in a home really.

Just block all men? I mean, the tools are there to do so rather than a forum post.

Or is that too much common sense for 10:30 on a Wednesday morning?

Right behind you…. Boo

I sometimes look at a persons bio if they say something in the forums. It’s generally because I’m being judgemental and I want to affirm my scathing opinion

You made me look! Now if I go back in a few weeks time I will be the person this thread refers to.

I sometimes have a look at men, to help figure out the type of guy a particular woman has previously met (from her veris). It doesn’t mean I’m interested in him.

But of course that doesn’t explain why he might be looking at you regularly.

I have always assumed the Forum was there for my entertainment - don't think I have ever debated (argued maybe, but then I tend only to pay for the five minute argument).

Very true Smithy but the topic of the debate is whimsical at best and banal at worst.

The general consensus of the post is block the mystery fabster and be done!

I'm straight.

I have all men blocked from messaging but I'll look at the odd male profile now and again if I don't recognise them on the forums or they say something I don't agree with and I need context before responding.

Occasionally I'll look who someone is after I've read a forum comment and before I reply, in case it helps me answer better. The last two single male profiles I viewed though were just accidental taps on their names while scrolling a forum page. Nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes, there is no big other reason behind something, no matter how much we might like to overthink it and find one...

Sort of the same thing going on with us but different....I know Mrs W enjoys browsing profiles that don't match our preferences, or anything we've talked abou together....Tv/Ts, bisexual men, MM couples...I know because I've been tasked with managing our inbox and occasionally I have to answer messages from people saying, 'I noticed you'd read my profile' or, 'thanks for the Fab'. I haven't mentioned anything to her because it's personal, she's entitled to her curiosity - if that's all it is - and I respect her privacy...even if she is a bit rubbish at it lol So, it's not just men who do this kind of thing, OP. It's all part of the joy of having access to a human zoo like this

They never offered 45 minutes in the Monty Python sketch, only five minutes or half an hour.

Now i have not seen the 'Fab wives are goers' argument, but I suppose the question is are you sure that it is an argument with a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition or purely contradiction being just the automatic gainsaying of anything the other person says?

The second question is will Rosemary, the adorable police precinct telephone operator being in the room (if you can overlook her whiney, squeaky voice, then she is an adorable catch!)

lol Mrs w uses the forum but I don't think she's aware the green arrow shows past comments. but hey, if she discovered I know things about her Fab browsing then it will hopefully remind her I'm chill and respect her right to be curious about whatever she wants .... and that I'm an incorrigible gossip!

"Why look at Men and have a block on men messaging you. I have one look every 2 weeks . I want to ask him why are you looking "

Sometimes it can be interesting to see the verifications left by someone you are interested in, sometimes it is useful to look at the competition and see what they are doing differently.

But usually if I look, I then block - no interest in any male-male interaction.

The python sketch on a nod and a wink and is your wife a goer is etched in the annals of comedy gold. As for the establishment of statements to merely contradictory stance is a theme most forum contributors play out?

Surely?

I'll look at a guys profile if

A) He's posted kn the forum and I'm checking, confirming, any reason really

B) I'm checking someone's veris to see the type of guy she's interested in.

I have guys blocked so I can't see if they look at mine and I don't care tbh.

Don’t know a guy is straight until you read their profile. Many guys are fab-straight even when they have “not looking for single guys” in their profile. Get plenty of messages from profiles like that.

Have a look at other same sex profiles, so maybe men look at yours OP the same as others for inspiration
