I can’t remember the last time I had a proper holiday where I got up to nothing.
But looking back, do you remember what you got uoti in the Summer holidays when you had almost 2 mths to get up to fuck all from school/college/uni?
How did you fill your time, if you had that time off now, what would you get up to?  |

I remember school holidays. 6 weeks of abject terror. Something to do with how I was brought up.
Do if I had the time now I’d mix up some pampering with parting. Though 6 weeks might be too much given I did 6 days non stop parting in Benidorm and resembled the living dead when I crawled through my front door. |

When I was a kid we would knock about with our friends up the park. Try and pull the boys then for one week in the holidays we went on holiday to the seaside in a caravan.
Now I've got to much spare time and don't do anything with it |

I remember exactly what I did every summer from the ages of 12-19.
I was a carer for elderly family members and almost every weekend and school holiday was spent looking after them.
As a result my normal teenage years and experiences were non existent.
I didn't do any of the things that everyone else seems to have done. |

Yep. In my school holidays I was out on my old boy every day, then just pottering around with him and some friends. The best of days probably the most content days of my life.
Uni days - working, spending time with my old boy, donkey and the new girl plus many, many nights out. No idea the amount of times I slid off the side of my old boy, to puke quietly after a night out and then haul myself back up there and carry on.
Was fun while it lasted

Bored shitless.
No pocket money
Single parent family
Park was my go to
Played tennis and could get my bum and hips on the swing.   |

Atari 400.
Played it constantly every day of summer hols. All day, right up to bed time.
Apart from when we went to Butlins for the usual 1 week's holiday. But they had arcades 
Went to Spain once. Menorca I think. Hotel had a Space Invaders and a pinball machine in a small tucked away room. Parents could always find me there too

Had a younger brother. We did everything together. Played a lot of cricket. Family hols in Cornwall, plus one week camping with a bunch of 11-16 year olds. |

i was always with my mates doing something rarely on my own, then i was always with my family doing something now it seems I'm on my own a lot but when i go on holiday on my own Christmas and new year i will enjoy being on my own doing nothing |

When I was 14 I spent them hanging about outside the chippy drinking cider. By the time I was 19 I was working double shifts for 16 hours a day in a frozen food factory. This year I was having time of my life in Asia doing whatever the hell I felt like doing that day. Summers have definitely got better as I have got older! |
