So I’ve got a day off work after being in Kenya for a couple of weeks working and found myself perving on profiles and a couple really piqued my interest….but not in the ways that they made my Willy do their dance….but in the ways it got my brain thinking (and yes it hurt).
Now I’ve seen people mention they want a particular size of penis, race, gender and even those listed as what they don’t want….a few this morning I noticed stated “No Army / Soldiers” - I know it’s each to their own and people have their reasons but has anyone noticed any other professions being bashed on here!!
I’ll throw mine in….no MP’s of any kind thank you very much!! ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

It’s because they think you’re going to wipe your cock on the curtains on the way out.
I don’t have preferences for or against any job type. But it does amuse me when people try to use theirs as a USP - often, although not exclusively, Forces and emergency services. |

"Not really but if anyone defines themselves as a 'professional ' it really makes people angry for reasons I've yet to fathom. "
My guess is that most of those that put professional don't actually know why they are saying it, it just sounds... Professional...
They have just seen it said on other profiles and they run with it. Just like the privacy and Sydney Uni disclaimers. |

We snubbed a guy this week due to his line of work. It wasn't the job he does as we don't care about that, it's the fact he delivers to our door 3 times a week! |

To be honest anyone disclosing their profession puts me off regardless of what it is, I don't need to know, it makes zero difference & generally the ones who do discuss it do it in a show off kind of way which immediately is off-putting.
And I'm with the above anyone stating their professionals also puts me off, it doesn't need stating.

If someone job title drops I avoid.
I've had someone treat me as a lesser and belittle me and he was a high earner.
So if someone makes a point of telling me what they do for a living, they can fuck right off as I don't want to be made to feel like I was again. It was horrible.
Plus what the hell has it got to do with sex anyway? Your job title does not define how good you are naked in a bedroom. Neither does your bank balance.

In the real world I was on a nice night out. Met a lovely (so I thought) lady. We got talking and there was some flirtatious touching, then I asked her what she did for a living and she reciprocated and when I told her I worked for a very large Oil and Gas company all hell broke loose! She slapped me, spat at me, called me every name under the sun like I was something evil. ![](/icons/s/sad.gif) |

Don’t want to hi jack the thread but this on going “professional job” debate is becoming tiresome.
Professional work is usually described as going through a period of specialised training then undertaking some form of test of competency before being admitted to a professional association such as The Bar or Royal College of Midwives even perhaps the institution of Structural Engineers. Nothing sinister nor supremest about it just a career root.
If the pandemic taught us nothing else it was clear that those in, shall we say, understated positions were rightly lauded for their contributions to keeping us alive, fed and clean!
As an side the lady above who is not concerned by money or perceived status I could point to several profiles that imply a bulging wallet is far more important that a bulging pair of Calvin Klien boxers.
It’s fab not to be confused with everyday living! |

I don't think many are bothered what you do for work on here. I think many are put off when people try to push their occupation as a selling point or to try and garner attention through their occupation.
It's very rare I see a profile that specially states no to certain occupations. Naturally we all have different tastes/opinions/experiences and some will put very specific requirements. But generally (as I often see in clubs) occupation and politics stay off the table and people just take people as they find them in person. |

"Doesn't matter to me. We have "Professional" in our profile. I might change it, I might not. If anyone doesn't like it, well, what a shame lol. Nice couple? Nope, we grumpy tired farts. Fun? God, no. Kinky? Yes, to a degree. Experienced? No way
I think I've been misunderstood.
It doesn't bother me if someone describes themselves as professional. I struggle to understand why it makes people angry when others do though. It triggers a lot of people. "

I have 'no Tories' on my profile, which I do feel but say mostly in jest, since political affiliation isn't really something you can know about someone unless they tell you, and anyone can lie.
'Professional' on someone's profile doesn't annoy me, but it isn't a lure either (dunno if it's meant to be?) I don't think job status is particularly relevant here, but people are free to choose the descriptors they like for themselves.

I was chatting with a lady and we got to the stage of arranging a social meeting. A few days before she asked if I had ever served in the armed forces. I replied I was in the army. She immediately cancelled the meet and then blocked me. I can only imagine she had a nasty experience with someone who had been in the forces. |

Hmm I kind of get the issue with those in the forces. Having lived near army bases you do tend to get inundated by messages from bored soldiers who want you to drive to them and suck their cock in a car. I'm not saying all are like that but there are a lot that are and it's easier just to avoid them all. |

It doesn't bother me what people do if they decide to tell me, and I've no problems telling people what I do either.
I work hard for my money and appreciate others like me.
Money is a means to live. Anyone belittling someone for how much or little they earn needs to spend a day in their shoes.
Likewise, someone who does their job because they enjoy it should be applauded. Too many people are unhappy in their job.
I've had some amazing jobs and even spent some time in Her Majesty's Forces.
Everyone has a place in this world. Let's celebrate it...

Work is rarely discussed pre meet but when in person, I do enjoy focussing on them and what they do is always interesting. I've met a few on long term benefit as well... All is good - no judgement.
My profile is a bit lightweight and people are often surprised what I do...

Oh yes j was a st cleaner for 10yrs. It paid my mortgage and kept the wolf from the door. Yet it was me with utter snobbery from women I dated. Nor just on fab but outside of the lifestyle.
I work as a council estate caretaker and get the same thing.
Yet many s time my job has enabled me to help people.
Job snobbery is a very real thing with a lot of women these days.

Yes I fully understand it. But some forget that’s not all women - having spent my life wearing and surrounded by uniform it has no impact.
The types that have only that, and nothing else, to offer, usually also forget that women wear the same kit and that their USP won’t always work. ‘Do you know someone who’s been in the Forces then?’ Er… quite well, yes.
