Are you having breakfast?

Are you having breakfast or skipping it?

Usually either I'm not hungry in the morning or I have no time for it.

Kind of having late dinners due to my work schedule, so I guess it might be a reason.

I hate missing breakfast. It leaves me in a bad mood and messes up my whole morning.

How timely. I was just chatting to a friend about skipping breakfast. I haven't had mine. I will now.

I’m having baked eggs and bacon with toast, and a latte. In a nice quiet coffee shop.

I'm in training, so I had porridge with chocolate protein powder, meridian peanut butter and cinnamon - it's lovely!

I've never eaten breakfast and never been skinny.

Even when I've done extreme workout, then had a 4 pack only.

I've been in pain and heavily medicated for over a month now.

Guess what? I lost almost a stone, but still not skinny.

Now I just bump my shoulders when I'm cutting corners, not my love handles anymore.

It sounds nice without the peanut butter.

You should check out the fine breakfasts in the Regency Room, Claridges. They are epic.

High Lighthouse!

I rarely have breakfast these days.

A coffee and bag of crisps (so healthy) around 10:30 is as close as it gets.

Yes- crack them in an ovenproof dish with some double cream, bake them for 5-10 minutes. They’re perfect

I don’t understand how people can skip breakfast

My stomach growls at me…it’s the most important meal of the day!

I've actually found that eating later in the day has actually helped me shift 4 stone in the last year and a bit... that was mostly down to lack of appetite, not hungry don't eat, and only having something small in the evening

Feel like brekky sets you up to eat well for the day.

If I don't eat I tend not to be overly hungry or eat a lot at tea (or from some "dinner") time

Had some crumpets this morning with marmite

I've never been convinced by this argument. In evolutionary terms, we've not changed that much in the last 100k years or so. Back then we were like most animals, eating what we had to hand, when we were hungry.

Splitting it up into "3 meals a day" was just convenient once one group of people sold themselves to another group of people for their work.

It's more efficient that way...

That being said, obviously, you don't eat much during the night, so probably need a top up of energy soonish in the day.

I love breakfasts but sometimes in a rush of things, having stressful morning you didn't ask for - one might forget

Ah, I see.

I do that with half boiled potato, boiled egg and chorizo and soured cream.

Slice them all up.

Layers on a tray and goes to the oven.

Soured cream in the end.

Not really a breakfast though.

The first thing you eat in the day is your breakfast. The word doesn't relate to the time of day, or its proximity to you waking up, it literally means the thing you eat to break your fast, so realistically nobody ever skips breakfast.

I thought you meant to keep it secret, if you eat people and drink blood.
