Yourself?
And no, I’m not talking about *that*.
When did you last take some time for yourself? And just really, enjoy that time?
This morning I’ve taken myself out for a lovely breakfast and coffee, and I’m about to go for a walk around the old abbey ruins nearby before I start my workday. |

I have pamper afternoons sometimes before going out.
Exfoliate, hot bath, shave, oils etc. Give myself a facial not that sort of facial ha.
Do my makeup and hair get ready.
Makes me feel like I'm at my best and very relaxed. |

Nearly every day. I spend an hour or two each afternoon reading, writing, working on a project eg crochet or embroidery.
Being retired it's possible of course. We also make sure we go out together a few times a week and sit down together for coffee every day. |

In October half term, B had business in Scotland. I was able to go with him and spent a day and a half by myself while he was working. I went for a clifftop walk to a ruined castle, skimmed stones and listened to the sea. Then I explored the town and had a Baileys hot chocolate. It was bliss.

Quite a few yrs ago and at the time I wasn't looking or wanting to date but get caught in the emotions of the events. And I came out of it very damaged.
I am now happy with who I am, what I can offer and what I'm looking for. So I am looking to start dating.

I only really take time for myself when I’m travelling for work. Getting an evening in a different city to wander and explore, and enjoy a bar or restaurant on my own.
If I’m at home, then I have a to-do list a mile long. Downtime doesn’t exist. |

Great question: I try to make some time for myself fairly regularly - exercising / eating well / spending time thinking deeply about my next moves. Not a luxury every one can afford, but a little goes a long way |

This is a great reminder. It's been a long time since I spent some proper time on myself. Thank you op

A couple of weeks ago I took myself off for a couple of nights away. I wandered around the Abbey, harbour, beach, town. Ate & drank in a cosy corner of a pub both nights. Managed to get dragged into a locals night out too - really nice bunch of people
It was bliss & really refreshed my soul. I got to know myself again - I quite like her |

A few month ago I visited a city for the day. Gave myself a pub lunch and a good walk around and checked out some history.
Each week I now visit a pub for a couple of hours as s fine out from the world. And coffee shops now and again.
This weekend I’m going to an art gallery, I’ve not been to it for ages, so it’ll be nice to revisit. But that will be my last day out for this year. I’ll avoid the Xmas shit. |
