"Some music from the 1940’s coming from my sons PC"
I love when my kids dig out some old(er) music because of them being used in gaming usually.
Kate Bush was doing rounds not long ago..
And I introduced them to some 90s hip hop since they tried to educate me about Dr Dre and Eminem

"Strictly on iPlayer
The tumble dryer
The dishwasher
All at the same time! The joys of open plan living
A symphony then ?
A bittersweet one, yes "
Good one I do enjoy your verve when it comes to word puns. |

My daughter is running a bath and I can hear the water running and her sloshing.. She is playing 'don't stop me now', Queen.
Also, my tinnitus is inside my head, constant.. Boo |

If our Boo is inside your head thats not the worst case scenario. Still - hugs.
Thanks for giving me the sloshing sound. Adding to the rest. I find it very relaxing imagining all those sounds with you all. |

I've made the unfortunate mistake of changing the batteries in one of my sex toys, and now the bastard thing won't go off and I've screwed the battery compartment on so tight, I can't get it undone again to try to get the batteries out! |

I can hear oldest yapping to a friend on the phone.
The middle one is trying to let youngest sneakily still play a game and she is not sneaky at all. Nor quiet. I am amused by it so giving them 10 minutes until I foil their not so sneaky plans.

"A neighbour's daughter practising some singing. And she does it pretty well.
Tones" my niebours are yards away. All girls. On a silent night they play string instruments and all of them are the best in highschool competitive standards. They sound so beautiful I listen. |

"A particularly loud clock ticking in my son’s bedroom as I lie in the bath.
Blimey it must be loud or very thin walls.."
It’s on the party wall and the rest of the house is pretty much silent. I can hear the fridge running too. And the fish tank pump. |

The whirring of the computer, the dog down the street barking again, the ever-present voice telling me I've not made anything of myself and will probably die alone and unloved, a d*unk woman shouting a couple of streets away. |

A ticking clock, my cat next to the desk breathing through her nose and little snores, the brook gurgling in front of my office, a slight road noise from the A50 carried on the wind, distant aircraft leaving East Midlands Airport and my ever present Tinnitus.. |

"Seagulls and a ticking clock
Is your clock made in the Soviet Union???
Must be a really loud clock.
"
It's very loud but I don't think it's Soviet.
Come to think of it clocks don't tick do much now do they. |

When I was a kid, we had a very old hundred plus clock and it made a beautiful sound every hour. Ticking was like a white noise. Something we were all used too.
My auntie used to have a cuckoo clock. Those were amazing too

Not really, except the biological ones.
My time is running out fast.
I should spread some love around instead of hanging out on the forum. |

All the older people in my family had one of those.
They were loud and heavy. |

There's a grandmother clock in the living room of my dad's house, I grew up with it's tick and the hourly, half and quarter chimes. When my mum needed hearing aids she wouldn't wear them because she could hear it all the time |
