I saw the opening of the Christmas market in belfast, then I worked my ass off and got a little Brucey bonus in my pay packet which was sweet. Almost home, time to chill for a bit once I'm in and then its a late start tomorrow and an early finish which I'd never a back thing. I am watching rubbish on TV amd feeling proud of my DIY skills
I replaced almost the entire bathroom myself and got to show my oldest how to use power tools and such. New shower included in that replacement. No leaks. It works. I am beyond happy with myself, truly honestly so proud of me

"Good evening! Today has been annoying. I was rudely awoken just before 5am by the monitoring company of my Dad's door alarm people. Obviously I am supposed to be able to divine what my father and his dementia have decided to do at 5am. No sooner had I seen on the doorbell cam that he'd returned home at about 5.20, our daughter came and said she'd had a nightmare. I empathised and made room. Total sleep for me - next to fuck all because I'd still been awake at 1.30am. This afternoon, our son decided to accept a night shift so I forwent the last bit of Strictly and dropped him at the bus station. Returned home to find WW3 about bedtime. Within 45mins, Son on the phone to say no buses had come (3 not turned up) and could I drive him to work. My coffee was decanted into a travel mug and my chocolate returned to the fridge. 1hr round trip to take him to work and now I'm cross. Had thought him doing a night shift would have left us time for a quiet night together but no. Mr KC just succeeded in untangling himself from the Small One and still needs to tidy the kitchen. Anyone who thinks it gets easier as children get older need to take a reality check!! "Good evening! Today has been annoying. I was rudely awoken just before 5am by the monitoring company of my Dad's door alarm people. Obviously I am supposed to be able to divine what my father and his dementia have decided to do at 5am. No sooner had I seen on the doorbell cam that he'd returned home at about 5.20, our daughter came and said she'd had a nightmare. I empathised and made room. Total sleep for me - next to fuck all because I'd still been awake at 1.30am. This afternoon, our son decided to accept a night shift so I forwent the last bit of Strictly and dropped him at the bus station. Returned home to find WW3 about bedtime. Within 45mins, Son on the phone to say no buses had come (3 not turned up) and could I drive him to work. My coffee was decanted into a travel mug and my chocolate returned to the fridge. 1hr round trip to take him to work and now I'm cross. Had thought him doing a night shift would have left us time for a quiet night together but no. Mr KC just succeeded in untangling himself from the Small One and still needs to tidy the kitchen. Anyone who thinks it gets easier as children get older need to take a reality check!! "You speak the truth. I got up on Sunday mornings to take our daughter to work and then went to collect her for a long time. I also used to pick our son up after a late shift every night for months. I plan to call them for lifts from my care home | |||

Obviously I am supposed to be able to divine what my father and his dementia have decided to do at 5am. No sooner had I seen on the doorbell cam that he'd returned home at about 5.20, our daughter came and said she'd had a nightmare. I empathised and made room. Total sleep for me - next to fuck all because I'd still been awake at 1.30am. This afternoon, our son decided to accept a night shift so I forwent the last bit of Strictly and dropped him at the bus station. Returned home to find WW3 about bedtime. Within 45mins, Son on the phone to say no buses had come (3 not turned up) and could I drive him to work. My coffee was decanted into a travel mug and my chocolate returned to the fridge. 1hr round trip to take him to work and now I'm cross. Had thought him doing a night shift would have left us time for a quiet night together but no. Mr KC just succeeded in untangling himself from the Small One and still needs to tidy the kitchen. Anyone who thinks it gets easier as children get older need to take a reality check!!
You speak the truth. I got up on Sunday mornings to take our daughter to work and then went to collect her for a long time. I also used to pick our son up after a late shift every night for months.
