car won't start cos battery in keyfob dead. why can't you open car without it

You may be able to....depending on the key fob there may be a 'key' inside, I think it was my passat that had that..

Failing that, is there a spare???

Like your style, Car won't start so I assume you were going somewhere, but cause it didn't start you elected for a warm house and fun on fab, fuck the car lol

No is was coming home from work, 10 mile walk at 6 am is not the best start.

some cars have an emergency key inside the fob, had a merc years ago that did

It let me open the car door but set off the alarm at 6am one morning, still remember the neighbours not being impressed
