"Take naps?
Day sleep?
I want one so bad - but 9 times out of 10 once I’m awake that’s it."
I can if I'm extremely tired as in hardly slept the night before but this is a very rare thing the day napping. |

I often start at 5am and sometimes finish as late as 11pm on the same day (not working straight through) so I often include naps in the afternoon, usually about 40mins. We have wellness rooms in our offices that can be used for this |

Nope. I do a lot of driving and a power nap would literally be the death of me.
And I'm not being flippant either. If you get used to napping, you will eventually drop off or zone out at any time as your body starts to think it's OK to do it.
The number of drivers that do this is actually un real. |

My working day starts at 5am and finishes at 2pm. Gym for an hour and straight home for a power nap. Usually only have a good hour, then I'm back in bed by 9pm .. love em! |

When I'm up then I'm up for the day. The only time I nap - or nod off - is when I'm caught up in the monotony of work and procrastination and take a quick nap.
I envy those who can take an armchair and just fall into a short slumber. |

My eyes have been known to close in meetings or seminars.
When I worked abroad we'd have two hours off at lunch, but I could never sleep, tended to look after my daughter and then put her down for the afternoon.
My power nap is now at 20.00 or 21.00, but after 45 mins I am wide awake til at least 1.00am. |

"Yup and until the industrial revolution we slept less at night and napped around midday. Work was split into morning and after naps, at least i read that somewhere "
They also broke up their night time sleep into two and would go visiting friends in between. As per Pepys. |
