Italy have rejected the sale of so called lab grown meat or Frankenstein Meat grown by eccentric scientists with test tubes and lab coats in favour of farmers with centuries of tradition. The motives for growing this so called meat may vary but Italians want proper food on their tables |

Sooo lab grown meat, ethical, environmentally friendly, animal welfare issues solved, less labour intensive etc.... what do we do with all the cows ??? Mass slaughter ? Eat them till they run out the switch to artificial.

If it's possible to make bigger profits than using animals, it'll happen sooner or later. If it's just the same profit as using animals, then it might happen if enough vegetarians clamour for it. If there's less profit than from animal farming, then it's a doomed venture.
Money is always the only thing that counts... |
