I'm going out tonight, which is very rare! I've had a wee disco nap and I'm now in bed, eating a samosa and dicking about on here. It's not a classic going out ritual but I'm enjoying it

Oh it takes me ages. Mainly because I procrastinate and get distracted!
Normally give myself at least 3hrs, which includes time to sit in a towel after shower and ponder whether I actually want to go out in the public.

I spend like two hours getting ready. I just like to be in my room on my own. I think that's about it. I'm usually only 15 or 20 getting ready so taking my time and doing my makeup extra nice and my hair all lovely is bliss.

Make plans.
Get excited.
Start to dread social interactions.
Panic, think about cancelling, procrastinate.
Chuck myself in the shower 15 minutes before I need to set off, quick dry hair, apply lipstick and throw on whatever is most convenient.

Quick shower,finger szhuzsh hair,lippy, mascara,finger szhuzsh hair again.
My car is my handbag and my going out means I need to be ready for all eventualities so I'll throw in another pair of shoes/trainers, a head torch, shawl/warm stuff, emergency snacks, change of clothes.
I like to be left alone to get ready. But.. If a partner is there when I'm getting dressed .. I like to get some groping, and maybe sex attention at the underwear stage.
