2 12yr old boys charged with murder in Wolverhampton.

What are the parents doing raising kids like this?

Get rid of the cannot name them due to their age bullshit.

People need to know who they are.

Scum.

Unless you know the circumstances and situation it’s not worth laying blame anywhere

"Unless you know the circumstances and situation it’s not worth laying blame anywhere "

By which I mean anywhere else than the offenders

I heard about the stabbing yesterday but the report on the radio said they were 14.

Manchester (she/her)

I don't think anyone at the age of 12 should be plastered all over the media, hounded, etc. No matter what they've done. Their brains aren't fully developed. They might well have committed the requisite act, but that doesn't mean quite the same as when an adult does it.

Being put through the criminal justice system is quite enough.

Unless we're completely abandoning the idea of rehabilitating criminals. Because if we can discard a 12 year old as "scum", then presumably all criminals should also be discarded as scum?

I hope we don't live in such a barbaric society, personally.

We can rightly raise questions about whether there is a failure in society that can lead to children committing such serious crimes, but at present there will be reporting restrictions so mostly there could only be speculation and gossip. What we have to hope is that the police will carry out a full and fair investigation, that the courts will do their job properly, and that when all is known lessons can be learned that will reduce the possibility of this sort of thing happening again.

What is definitely not needed is knee jerk outrage in the tabloids, screams from politicians trying to divert attention away from the other problems of the country, or wild accusations from people that as yet cannot be in possession of full facts.

Parents can’t always be blamed for the sins of their children. Sometimes it’s a windy day when the apple falls from the tree

Not fair to automatically blame the parents. Children can fall into bad company, they can have mental disorders, there could be many, many reasons. I'll reserve judgement as I don't know all the facts.

The only option left for you then is that they were born evil ?

Is that what you are suggesting?
