Three years compulsory national service upon finishing secondary school.
No exceptions religion or political views,wealth or gender.
And if you can't do basic due to health issues then plenty of ancillary services available |

I would replace that with three years of learning a trade ie plumbing/building/electrician as it would be far more productive and at the end of the term, the person would always have a trade for life to fall back on regardless of life choices. |

Sounds utterly terrible and a waste of time for most kids, let alone the poor armed forces personnel who have to deal with a bunch of kids who don't want to be there.

I'd ban going to university directly after school or college. Minimum 2 years before university to give you a chance to save up for university, get some life experience and a job and not rely on parental hand outs. |
