Fair enough. To me female is a biological category, an assortment of holes. Woman/women suggests someone who views me as a complete person.

I don't know — I just find the term "female" akin to a scientific taxonomy. Some women mind and some don't. I just stick with "women" if I can help it.

I have, however, given up calling them "Duchess" following a recent thread which, as a consequence, has totally scuppered my terms of endearment when it comes to nobility and peerage.

The term females is more often than not used by male incels, as usually a derogatory term. They use it to dehumanise women and see them as objects/property. So yes while the term female as really no negative use, because of the way it’s been used by a large amount of twats it kinda gives a lot of people a horrible feeling when used.

I'm not keen on females since "Friday night dinner" the show came out.

Women, probably the safest bet

Chat up lines, meh. Just tell me your name and something quirky about yourself and I'd probably be interested! Altho Dan will tell you that I'm quite partial to a dad joke!
