If you were to take a day off for yourself… not for chores…not for meeting….

What would you do?

What pleases you?

Would it be busy? Or a rest day?

Flight simming

Model making

Eating crisps

All to a loud soundtrack of a Bullet for my valentine playlist.

Bookmarking, for ideas as I've got to use up some annual leave at work, else I will loose it.

I am thinking of a spa day or a matinee at a theatre

Portsmouth

Have a lie in, enjoy a bath, go for a walk and visit my favourite wildlife, stop for coffee and cake on the way home, then feet up on the sofa and watch a film or 3.

Not that I can't do that most days!

I quite like people watching, would probably spend most of it in the pub watching the world and everyone else go by

North West

I'm doing just this next week, though also slightly a practical choice because Mr KC is travelling for work. I might go horse riding in the morning (I'll check the weather forecast) or otherwise I'm going to find a hotel spa pool and float about for a few hours, read a book etc. I might go to the cinema, if time, but I don't think that bit will fit with the time constraints.

All over

Explore a quaint little village, it's antique shops and the quirky bookshop. Have a lovely afternoon tea, walk down to the beautiful lake to feed the ducks, before getting back to the gorgeous b&b for a hot bath, some hot chocolate, and drift to a very good sleep whilst listening to moonlight sonata.

I'd take the car and park it in that place just there, then I'd get on a train that takes me to Euston directly with a one day travel card.

And then I have so many options I would be like a kid in a candy store. Especially with all the galleries and attractions at the end of a tube ride. Not to mention the places to eat.

Like cafe.79 that was just fun.

And the lit city at night filled with bars.

Book into a day spa

Book a two hour massage

Have lunch at a posh restaurant all alone and not dine with my mobile out but instead enjoy the ambiance, food, and all the states I may receive

Try on the most expensive of shoes and many of them and simply not buy any but enjoy the experience of it all the same

Play at least thrice in the day

Eat a decadent molten chocolate lava cake and wash it down with doux champagne. Let’s be real that be a tall order, I’d settle for demi-sec.

End the day with really slow, sensual sex whilst blindfolded and tied.

For me Brick Lane and street art in the area. Great on the weekend!

But anywhere really. Lots to find when walking around with open eyes.

Long walk on the beach with the dog to start the day and then spend the day curled up on the sofa with snacks and a good book. In the evening, get a nice takeaway in the evening with a G&T and good film
