I must qualify this - the term is invariably bandied about in terms that make it clear it's just assumed and imposed. No discussion, just a statement of what's going to be done to me. If two consenting participants discuss it, and decide that's what they want to do, I have no issue with their choice. It's the way in which the term is almost invariably employed to me that I don't like. |

I don't need appeasing - strange thought. You could change it to any scenario - bottom line is you could do with following your own dictums and leaving 'Each to their own' .. It’s a word. It does nothing for me sexually. I personally prefer bb. My choice. My kink/preference. Yes you are all basically kink shaming unless you are politely saying not for me. Thinking that some random person actually wants to have a baby with you because they like the word is ridiculous. Yes, they are probably the odd exceptions, as in all walks of life. For a long while, the term triggered me in a very harsh way. Same as "milf", "mum tum" and being called "mummy" etc. Not in everyday use, but when I'd get messages referring to these things and myself. Because I don't have kids, can't have kids, contraception is kinda useless to me (from that standpoint) because if I did get pregnant I'd lose it anyway so no baby/child.
