Dear Gentlemën, Menfolk and Lotharios,

When you are conversing with a woman on a popular messaging app and you delete a message before she has read it, thus leaving a {message was deleted} indication ... does she often exclaim "Oooh, what did you delete ?!?"

Why are these spirited creatures so curiously inquisitive and nosy??

Yes. But to be fair I ask them too

Nobody asks for details though, just the curiosity of why it needed a delete.

It messes with my head when someone deletes something. I just need to know what it was. I don't think it's because I'm a woman though.

You can via the initial 'pop up' notification on the phone and, quite often these days, on the smart watch. But yes, you're correct.

Dear Nero

Two questions:

1. What is a woman? (I have read about them)

2. How would one converse with said mythical creature?

Many thanks.

Depends who it is, if it's someone that I'm unsure of, is deceitful, playing games then yes I'll ask. Someone I trust I'm less likely to but I'd worry they felt they couldn't approach me and had bottled saying or asking something that was important to them. And I'd want to know to check that I was open and approachable to them and everything was ok.
