Bring out the dickhead in people? I feel like alot of the profiles that are rude are not like this in real life and this place makes them act a certain way

Absolutely! Most social media does, it's easier to be a cunt behind a keyboard than in real life, I mean how many men great you with their cock in real life?!

Guilty.

Though I am a bit of a dickhead in real life aswell, I'm consistent at least.

It's a downward spiral. Each side has input.

Keyboard warrior has been a term for years, since the beginning of internet and chat rooms, it certainly isn't Fab or the chatrooms it's the change in humanity, hiding away with an alter ego.

Theirs far less consequence to bad behaviour online. You can’t be arrested or punched in the face.

Always reminded me of the Greek myth of The Ring of Gyges.

Where a good moral man is given the power of invisibility, then becomes evil immoral.

Yep, I guess the anonymity of the site allows and people can shake off the everyday persona and come across as something they aren't, people can be who they like behind a screen and can be abusive because there is either little or no consequence that will impact on their everyday

As for me, what you see is what you get no matter the platform or place

Yes it does…often wonder how some people behave in their normal day to day life.

It's not just fab, people will take any opportunity to behave differently if they can get away with it. Most of the time, if something is lacking in their real life they will use situations to reflect it on others whether it be bullying, control or entitlement. I've learnt to mute these people as its their issue not mine.

I don't mind rude people either here or elsewhere because they are easy to avoid.

It's those who use smoke and mirrors on a site like this who do the most damage.

It's much easier to be a cunt if you are able to distract with a few sexy pics.

Not for me personally, I genuinely like to think what I say to people here is what I would say in real life.

Which means if you think I've been rude to you...well....

so you’re just rude to people on and offline? I don’t know if that’s better or worse

I don’t think it’s just fab but the internet in general. There are far less consequences for the things you say online so people loose that filter they have irl and don’t give a shit if they offend someone or come across as an arse.
