How are you supposed to post on the forums and follow the plot?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

That is tricky. It might be why I have two that I recorded last year waiting to be watched.

I'm trying to watch Oldboy which is quirky at best and haven't a clue where I am in the plot. The bugger just ate a squid live and I haven't a clue why!

That's what pause and rewind are for.

Ohhh that would just mush my brain as its confused me with the first run through. I may go out and buy it for a sane moment.

They are pulling teeth out with a claw hammer now! Fuck knows what all that's about! There is no way I'm off to the dentists now for a while.

What? I've seen plenty of subbed films that are better than most Hollywood shite. Intacto, switchblade romance, irreversable, la horde to name a few.

southend

I love sub-titled films, but they aren't great for either an easy watch, or a watch while doing something else type of movie.

I generally sew when I'm watching a film, but can't with subbed films.

Durham Tees

The mark of a good subtitled film is you forget it is subtitled.

Cinema Paradiso, for example.

The thread is probably a bit subtle for you as opposed to subtitle. If you read it again its about irony, reading forums, whilst not being able to read the subtitles at the same time on a film that's on Film4. It has nothing to do with the quality of subtitled films, the sudo intellectual championing of art films, the denigration of Hollywood block busters. Its more about following plots whilst trying to multi task and giving reading the forums priority over subtitles on the film. I Hope that clears ant confusion.

It's the braile versions that I find difficult to follow

It's not hard to follow the plot of a subbed film really. Just don't post on here while watching one. It's pretty simple.

I just had to watch Warm Bodies and that was a travesty.

Cinema paradiso is one of the best films ever made,

Pans labyrinth is excellent.

The girl with the dragon tattoo series are way better than the Hollywood version

And then the tv series

The killing 1 2and 3

The bridge

Borgen

If a production is good the language doesn't matter
