Is there any truth to the rumours that you can’t log onto fab or any adult content from a Tesco mobile phone, as I was looking to change network, any help appreciated, thanks

It might initially block adult contact, but if so there’s usually an option to disable the blocker either by calling or online via an age verification

Sometimes SIM cards come with adult content blocked and you have to request the provider to unblock. Not sure that applies to Tesco but did with sky.

When we switched to Tesco, we just rang the helpline and they switched the adult filter off straight away.

All internet providers in the UK must by law have adult content restrictions available for people under 18. As a purchaser, you can get restrictions removed from your account, if you request it, as an adult. This includes Tesco

Same issue with Voda from time to time, as others have said, you have to call your provider and have age restricted content bars lifted from your account.

With Voda, I told them I need open access for work and to remove all restrictions, I told them I work in the gambling industry; same restrictions apply as to adult content so it was a very easy fix and no random questions.
