How come when you send a message to someone they dont read it yet you can see there online and yet it goes unread for days sometimes weeks

Because they may have lots to go through plus they do not have to look.

They might have gone into stealth mode and looked at your profile without you knowing. If the profile doesn't grab them, they won't open your message.

Think the sarcasm comes from answering a similar thread almost daily! Instead of focusing on your outbox maybe focus on your inbox...far less stressful and the intention of someone sending a message is often clearer than the thoughts of someone receiving one

Never said it bothered me did I was just wondering why people do it of course people might not be interested but how hard is it to say yes or no and block someone or whatever

It must bother you or you wouldn't be asking the question.

Regarding how hard is to say yes or no. Picture a single female, she gets maybe 100+ messages a day, why should she spend her precious time answering them all. Instead she chooses ones she likes, responds and deletes the rest. The more popular among the membership have been know to get 2,3 or even 400+

Could be a number of different reasons for it that are personal to the individual as it is their profile n therefore their business how they manage it and nobody else's. sorry if that's harsh but it's also true!

What was the answer you wanted - terrible women, they should answer all messages the moment they arrive to the in-box?

I often show as being on-line. Sometimes I prefer to be on the forum and don't even notice my in-box. At other times Fab is open and but I'm looking at other things on the internet. Sometimes I'm just perusing the men on the site.

I respond with a resounding no to the ones that send the stroppy message saying that I ignored their earlier message. I don't get in a strop when men don't reply to my messages. You can only control your own actions.

if the headline is not catchy i dont open... simple, so i have hundreds of messages that stay unopened... also i can see the first few words before i open i also dont open if i dont like the first few words lol

When you get a lot of messages they drop off the end of the page. You can't get them back until you delete the newer messages. If you get floods of new messages even more will fall off the end of the page.

So what about the unread ones? Same reasons as the read but not replied or the deleted. Folk can do what they like with their mail

One half of the couple will read it but not respond and the other doesn't notice it so it gets missed

Op skim thru their profile you should be able to tell if they are stuck up or not just by how they word it don't waste your time messaging them

On this type of thread you get three types of posters.

poster a- male who wants a shag so will want to impress female posters by turning on another male poster he doesnt know to show he agrees with posters in the b category.

poster b- female posters who really cant be arsed to answer messages.

poster c- the pedants.
