Just had a really lovely email from somebody (and I have that person's permision to say this) about whether this site is a chatting site. Well, I thin k it is whatever everybody wants it to be... what do other people think?  |

I think this place can be whatever you want to it to be
Yes some use it just to chat with friends etc but I think the majority do use it to arrange meets etc

i was talking to a nice couple in a club on saturday...
they are not really interested in the talking/getting to know people... and that is their right...
up the other end, I know of people where they want to get a better feel for people and that mean having conversations and being attracted... and that is cool...
some people work on purely the visual...... some people need mental stimulation as well... |

Think the new style chat is OK but too fast moving in a busy room ....you soon loose interest and log out....Actually I would prefer the forums to be more of a multi user chat tool if it would not be hi-jacked with pathetic do gooders out to seek a cause.  |

Even oif we ignore the amount of guys who send "Fancy a chat" messages only to be deleted and/or blocked.... at the moment there are 16396 users online.
In video cam room now: 902 chatting.... and they ain't all chatting whilst tugging one off.
Then of that 16396 - 902, how many are posting on the forum?
It is pretty safe to say the stats say this isn't a chat site. |

It can be a chatting site if the person you mail is respectfull enough to reply.
But as a single male i have sent lots of pleasent complimentory messages only to be totally ignored or in some cases blocked!

Nothing wrong with chatting. I find forums have many interesting and clever conversations..Not all thickos whos jump into bed and cant string a sentence together. If people say im a time waster and on wrong site because of that i dont give a sausage(pardon the punn).
But like many say - talk and see where it leads. Get a rapport first..

I chat to loads of people through messages most of who I'm probably unlikely to meet but we just have some good banter so I think its a chatty site for me. Sometimes those chats turn into meets sometimes not.
I have to say though having been a swinging site chat room moderator in the old style IRC chat rooms (those were the days) I hate the current chat room interface, and whereas back in the day you could have some really good banter about varied subject now it all seems to be about 'get your tits out luv' so a backwards step for me  |

I have been here for longer than I can remember.. and I have had a lot of fun and good chats with people, both on and off site as a result of on site chatting. |

Not at all. I never go to the chatrooms.. I just dont enjoy them. I like the chats on the forums and the personal email chats. Each to their own but it is a sure way of getting to know people and also give you an idea whom you might like to meet.  |
