Has Fab improved your knowledge of geography?
Have you got excited about a possible meet in Newcastle and it turned out not to be the one near Stoke In Trent..
Had to find out where Cowbit is? (too far, sorry luv)
Heading to a party that was 2 hours drive but was only 45 minutes as the crow flies?

I still get the Newcastles confused, I'm not too far from one of them. My friend has started calling it Under Lyme so I don't ask him the same absurd question.
So no, my geography hasn't really improved in the slightest. |

Luckily I travel with work so usually know where places are but just occasionally you get that where the heck is that moment
However as i seldom get lucky it’s kind of unimportant where my none meets are lol |

My geography has always been pretty good, which is why it is very annoying to see results which say 'x number of miles away' which I know is incorrect because Fab distances are 'as the crow flies' and not road routes...
....eg, profiles in south Wales will show as 75-100 miles away because Fab ignores the large body of water (the Bristol Channel) inbetween me and them - in those instances, the actual driving distance is generally double... |

Ah… the old days before Satnav and Smartphones.. trying to find the naughty party with a 5 year out-of-date AA road atlas that got wet in the boot so that Manchester and Hull got stuck together and a dog-eared A to Z…
And still not able to find it, an hour late and nobody’s answering the phone because they’re all there, having sex and you’re not… |
