Just reading a forum thread and a fab lady commented that she’s never sent a first message
So the big question is “have you never sent the first message”
I understand women don’t have to because they’ll be boob deep in messages but I thought what a shame more don’t

Yes I had a good success rate. Sometimes it was just chatting and then it fizzled out and sometimes it led to a meet. I got ignored a couple of times but never had a flat out rejection |

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been sent the first message. Can completely understand why, women on here are obviously inundated with messages constantly, friend of mine sent me a screenshot the other day and she had over 400 messages just from that day!!
Never received the first message but would be nice haha. |

Yeah, it's better to look for what you want than wait for it to land in your DM's IMO. I just wish the search functions made that easier here.
I'll wink first normally, but if they wink back I'll start the conversation.
If their profile really stands out I'll dive straight in with a message - I'd need to feel like I had something worthwhile to say based on their bio and mutual desires, which is rare in the sea of vague/blank profiles. |

I haven't sent a first contact message in nearly 4 years.
Every conversation I've had since has been started by a woman making the first move, sometimes through something on the forums but sometimes just because they like my profile.
My fab bestie who I also have a couples profile with made the first move and got in touch so there are lots of women out there who do. |

I used to when I was looking to meet...why waste time trawling through all the crap in my inbox when I could just message the people that I was interested in?
In fact, I've only ever met one guy that I didn't initiate contact with. |
