"Would you like to be born in...I'd say for me the 1940's....I love the style of clothing and just the feel of the 40's "
I think the 40ies post war when people started having hope again. That sounds like a time when people made do with very little and still had a good time dancing and having fun! And when you look at pictures they looked healthy as well. |

What go back to an era without the internet? I will stop in this one as it opens up so many possibilities for meeting people from different areas and more. |

I love feminism. I love the fact that women want to be equal to men. I love the fact how women no longer look at me in disgust when I don't open a door for them, or give up my seat on the bus. I love how my wife doeasn't complain when I make her carry the really heavy bags of shopping while I carry the lighter bags. I love what happened to our great country when we let a woman run it for a few years. Feminism, because men allow it! |

"The Plasticine Era, when might dinosaurs roamed the Earth..."
Erm , you may mean the Mesozoic Era.
Unless you were thinking of a Morph type era.
I would loved to have been around in the 1940's and had the opportunity to have done something useful in any of the services ,
Cyndi would like to have been around during the suffragette movement , but ,from my point of view, hopefully not jump under the kings horse . |

Why look back with rose tinted spectacles? These era look wonderful on Downton Abbey and not so much on Ripper street or The Midwifes, no contraception, 11 plus children, shared loo's rationing.
Be happy with what you have!

"I would have liked to have been in Pompeii in 78. "
I thought this was referring to the Pink Floyd Live At Pompeii film, but that was 1972.
Presume you mean the eruption of Vesuvius in AD 79 .
Erm , not sure I would of wanted to be there Steve |

I would like to pop in and visit a few eras.
The 1950s as fashion was so elegant.
To be in a disco in the late 70s in New York wearing lurex boob tube and hotpants and sporting a huge afro
And to be a part of the legendary Blitz club scene in the early 80s in London, with Steve Strange on the door, Boy George in the cloakroom and Rusty Egan DJing and playing Human League's Being Boiled
