In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon |
I've just designed and ordered this year's batch of family Christmas cards for my parents. 100 little pieces of joy.
I usually chuck one in for some of the family from me when I send them out. Special friends get a card made just for them as well. |

Yes, although the list gets smaller each year. I hate the people who post something on social media that they're not doing cards this year but making a donation to buy a goat in Alfmethistan.
They should just admit they can't be bothered |

"Yes send out loads. And use a proper fountain pen to sign them all. Mind you I write letters too. Always use wax seals on the letters. "
That’s lovely. Me & my youngest have a baking day each year around 23rd , Xmas cookies, fairy cakes, treats etc make & decorate boxes and deliver with cards to around 30 friends/family locally.
It’s like a production line and takes a whole day but we love it |

Always try to. Normally always miss 'last post by date' and have found they got there quickly, how odd. Always surprised at the cost as very many cards are abroad, that said, no idea what a stamp or postage costs as size seems to matter too....a bit like with some ladies. |

I still do to family and friends but not as many as in the past. I love Christmas traditions ….
At work last year we wrote out 937 cards to the families we support. The personal touch is so important to us |

To friends and family that live in other parts of the country or abroad I do. Put little updates in and they do the same in return.
I have a Christmas card my Mum sent me before she passed away, I put that on the mantle piece every year too. I like to look at her writing.

To my mum, my kids dad and his mum and dad.
I will to my kids when they’re older and will appreciate the sentiment more.
I also write them (or Moonpig them) to my two closest friends. But that’s dependent on how organised I am. |
