i think it would be good while things where going ok, but it only takes someone to take the huff if you told them you didnt want to meet anymore and all the locals could know your buisness, not everyones as bothered about keeping this side of their life to themselves as others are

As my old Nan used to say....dont shit on your own door step lol

I've worked out that someone I really fancy getting in touch with actually lives less than a mile up the road...

No way am I ever taking the chance!

If something went wrong - my life could be made hell!

We have never really thought about it but wouldn't be in a rush to meet someone within walking distance on the off chance it all went wrong.

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

Wouldn't bother me, though all the local single guys that have contacted me (i.e. from my town itself) are actually married so I won't go there with them; whilst I have no problems playing with married guys from away, I do know the neighbours would notice Jane Smith's husband coming to mine and prefer not to shit on own doorstep in that case

They do say

"never crap on your own doorstep" for a reason....I just think its nice when things are ok but if something goes wrong and you fall out....they ...or you .? may have a field day telling tales

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I don't care - I have no secrets. And if they out me then they are outing themselves at the same time. Two-way street.

I feel no shame in what I am doing so if I did meet someone and then bumped into them in the supermarket it would not be a problem for me (though they may find it a problem). I would be quite happy to pass the time of day.

I would only be worried about the ideas people might get behind us.. overhearing the conversations...

Sometimes when I talk to my vanilla friends (who DO know about my other life) I forget they are still vanilla and it is not until I say something (wholly) inappropriate... that they remind me that they are still "pure"

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I meet them in disguise. I am actually 4'3 and blonde.

Seriously though, as I meet in hotels then for all I know they could live round the corner. Although as men in York don't play for some reason I reckon I'm safe.

My answer to being overheard would be - 'then you shouldn't be bloody listening!'

I'm happy to. I've even seen swingers I know out and about in town.

I don't make it public knowledge what I do but I don't really worry about it too much either.

little house on the praire

Years ago i used to see a guy from the camp who was only five miles from me, i used to see less of him than guys that lived miles away.

Also i see two guys from the next town as me and i see them less, wonder if its because its easy and if we want to meet we can and it doesnt have to be planned as such

I prefer not to more because of the jobs I have; day job for a housing association and second job is in a pub and have already been contacted by someone who then saw me at work

On another note, I don't go to the Lodge as the first time I went there, my sons mate turned up, a couple who's kids went to school with mine and a woman who knew me from the estate I live on, never again

No my town is small so I won't meet anyone too close.. Too much of a hassle worrying if I should bump into folk (then having to explain how I know them) whilst I'm with my friends..
