From my experience, there’s a few things at work.
Some assumptions….
That I’m a slag that fucks any man hole I can find and therefore am riddled with disease.
That because I’m bi, and the man in the couple is straight……think I’m gonna automatically try to stick his cock in my mouth, or my cock up his arse like I’m some raging cockaholic.
They’re frightened of catching gay….yes SOME people still think that shit!

For some, it's intimidation.
In many cases, a bi man may have gone through a lot of self-reflection and introspection, and questioned the patriarchy's expectations of him. And the Matriarchy's too. There is a certain amount of "unshackling" in that process. And a heck of lot of conviction and strength and courage to make that leap, typically in to the unknown.
Some feel "challenged" in that regards, because they hold up a mirror to others.
And about a million and one other reasons.
