Totally alone now so Christmas is just another day for me. Nice that others enjoy, I am definitely not into religion so for me it means a lot less I guess.
I had intended to go on a mini cruise or something this year but can't find anyone to take, even offered to pay for everything. |

I love Christmas, the cheer the decorations, people saying merry Christmas to each other, spending time with my family.
But I hate the rampant commercialisation, the adverts...
Anything that says "make this Xmas extra special, with our specially selected (insert food/drink/object here)"

I think the magic of Xmas died with it becoming to commercialised.
No longer were kids happy with the almanac, a satsuma, card games with grand parents etc
I like the time off more than the occasion |
