Not sure, I painted my sitting room a greyish blue colour even the ceiling and liked it at first but now kind of wish I’d just done it white or magnolia

Manchester (she/her)

I've gone from white to pastels. I don't think my place could handle really bold colours, I only have north facing windows, but I was so sick of boring walls. (All my furniture is neutral - wood, cream, or mushroom brown)

I like a bit of colour. That said, I’m also a fan of darkly decorated rooms

In my happy place

Pale colours and 1 wallpaper feature wall in my bedroom so far.

Easier to change curtains in a room than walls

No the glitter looks grand, very cosmic. Anyway it's not brave, I mean it's just a ceiling

Central

I've had orange, purple and bright green, just in 1 of my rooms, though currently using yellow. I use a lot of white, to give light and space. No grey or magnolia

Tend to like plain matt white walls, but using a good quality paint (it makes so much difference) and then dress the walls with some colourful art.

Not too fussed with minimalist but can't stand clutter either.

Love period features too.

Good flat white and art is the gallery look to me so would need to keep changing the art and that can be expensive.

Out of my price

No, just move them around.

Have a go yourself, get a blank canvas and splatter paint on it, tell your friends its a new, unknown, contemporary artist, they'll be so impressed.

I saw a painting in a Liverpool gallery this weekend, it was a of a chimp trying to paint and it being splattered everywhere including the frame.

Burst out laughing and loved it.
