Love hiking and wild camping, so the thought of someone sometimes joining me or meeting along the way for a laugh, a coffee or some impromptu outdoor action really appeals.

I think we should start our own on here!
Something where the guys don't have a sense of entitlement and know that they aren't to pressure any ladies who come along so everyone feels safe. Be a good social too for those that just enjoy hiking and enjoy the "views" that may come with such a gathering.
But everyone knows that if the attraction is there fun is on the cards with the agreement of all involved. |

That sounds awesome, but I suspect that you'd struggle to find a group of guys where absolutely none of them expected the women present to be putting out.
(Personally I think there's nothing worse than second day camping sex, but others will clearly have different views). |

There have been fab hiking groups for as long as I've been on the site.
I have offered advice on other threads and wasn't going to comment on this one until you mentioned entitlement.
My experience over the years is that there have been many people, including women, who have joined these groups and swiftly left again when they realised they would actually be expected to hike. Some were convinced it was just code for gangbangs and outdoor fun.
Taking away the sense of entitlement in regard to sex though, people on fab seem very reluctant to take responsibility for health and safety on fab hikes.
Many organisers are happy to leave it to each individual while many of those taking part have no idea about appropriate clothing and footwear and refuse to take advice.
This has in the past led to trips and falls and injuries that required a hospital visit simply because some people were too cool for school and didn't want to wimp out in front of others.
Dress shoes and mountain paths are not good bedfellows but hey I might get my leg over so let's go! |

We have just this week organised two hiking days out with fellow fabbers in Gran Canaria. Both excellent. No sex involved (yet) in either case because that isn't the primary purpose, but the conversations have that delightful wider range than normal life. Altogether brilliant days out.
If the idea of similar in the UK
grabs you then ping us.
