I expect this thread to die a death but here goes!
Afghanistan are within a serious shout of getting I got the Cricket World Cup semi finals. At the moment they’re looking like they will thrash Australia. Wow.
Part of me dislikes the fact that after the Taliban came back into power, women’s cricket was banned, and they were turning into a good side.
But for the men’s side to get where they have, is amazing. Jonathan Trott has done a hell of a job!! What a story.
Come on Afghanistan!!!

One of the greatest innings of all time from any format. He couldn’t walk due to cramp and smashed it all over the park with no footwork- bit like my batting except the ‘smashing it all over the park’ bit. |
