We've had one for over a year, and they really are great when you get the "correct" type of bread to put in them. It mainly works with Warburtons Thins, and although other companies have rip-off bread, their designs have been altered too much and they never seal up properly.

Waiting for the price to drop on the larger CRIPiT Wrap one.

It's worth the wait, life changing. Think there's a black Friday deal on them soon, 2 for 1. Could have one for you, and one as a present for a family member

Offer came up on Facebook as a b.o.g.o.f deal.

So got two for £9.99.

We've just got a pair of them, for the thins and the tortillas. Planning to use the latter tonight for the first time with a fajita mix inside and then either pan fried or cooked in the airfryer. Might result in another culinary mishap

Takes a while to get the perfect crimpit mate. My advice is to microwave for 30 seconds before crimping, the instructions say 20

Leftover bolognaise and cheese is a delight, tuna with pasta, mayo, onion and sweetcorn is always a winner. Chicken nuggets with cheese and chicken tikka are some of our faves so far

"Is it not just a sandwich toaster?"

No, if done correctly the filling doesn't fall out. There's a wrap version too, you can make your own Calzones with thar one.

Well first attempt wasn't a complete disaster but the wraps pinged apart when frying afterwards. Maybe I should have shoved a load of grated cheese in the mix!

Are they really that great?

What recommended fillings do you go for?

I saw the deal on HUKD but ignored it as a fad, maybe I'll get 2 now.

Did you microwave? Try wetting the edges before crimping too. Also, don't overfill

Yes, used the microwave as instructed but maybe my mistake was doing the whole pack of tortillas for 1 minute as I would normally do for burritos or something like that. I'll try individual ones next time for 30 seconds each
