If I'm correct, I'm no expert on the edl, but I do believe one of the main guys is an Indian? Also the leader is Irish which is ironic given their name!! I think their mantra is defending England from Muslims? If your not Muslim and he's a proper party member he should be ok with you, though I gotta be honest I very much doubt it and I'd be wary of meeting them it could be a set up?

The leader of the edl is currently detained at HMP for trying to get into America on a friend's passport!! Makes me chuckle.

The other option is turn them down saying your a BNP member (they hate each other) claiming that you want a united Britain rather than just England!!

The EDL are a predominately anti muslim/mass immigration group. Pretty much made up of football hooligans. There are Sikh and Indians within their ranks. Although they'll be well outnumbered by White members. I would certainly let them know your indian beforehand saves any hassle.
