My female partner has hinted that, amongst other things, she wouldn't mind one of the above included in her Christmas presents. As a complete novice, what would people recommend- replies from women particularly appreciated.

I have a wonderful battery powered wand (from LH) and my hand is also now redundant!

OP… I think it depends on what you/she wants … that is a wide spec to go from!

Get a Doxy. Beautiful. Very powerful. LH have some fantastic ones as well. Lelo are probably my favourite sex toy company - great for splashing out to help her splash out.

In terms of dildos, glass is great for temperature play, you can get some fantastic design and they aren't particularly expensive. There's also the Njoy pure wand - it's more a dildo rather than a wand in that it doesn't vibrate but both can have magical results.

Get her a £100 ann summers voucher, she'll head for the section that attracts her most, just don't be disappointed if it's a 12" dildo.

Another vote for Doxy & Glass. We also get some from John Thomas, not the cheapest but can get something for pretty much all likes and wants

Clit stimulator. The womanizer is great. For one that also has a vibrate function look at the Satisfy Orca

Mains (or even battery) can be a bit too intense for some, especially as a first vibe.

Love glass dildos, highly recommended.

Exactly! It's brilliant, well worth exploring with. On the subject of glass, I have a really lovely ceramic dildo from Coco de Mer. They've stopped selling that particular item but ceramic dildos really are something a bit special. Good for gifts.

Personally no matter how many tots we purchase I always find myself going back to my trusty rabbit. I think that would be a good starting point for her as long as you make sure it's rechargeable! But that said I wholeheartedly agree with the glass lovers and am enjoying getting to grips with my new clit suckered from Love Honey - they've got a big sale on atm too bonus!

I have a doxy and it's bloody powerful.

I can be numb after that and my forearms will feel numb too.

The magic wand my ex had however was more rumbly and I liked that better.

But I'm not a lover of vibrators to be fair.

So maybe try and establish if she likes a wand that has a deep rumble or an intense finer vibration before going for any recommendations if you can. Because you could end up getting it very wrong. Maybe both and cover your arse (not literally of course )

I have a LH silicon dildo with a suction base. I bloody love that. Just a shame it's pink.

Doxy wand for a vibrator and a glass dildo would be my suggestion.

You should buy her the Monster Masher 14" Minge Destroyer oooh or maybe if she's a newbie you could buy the Realistic Mini Meaty Sausage. I think LoveHoney sell them.
