You should do it.. Book an hostel like kex first week of November it's a music festival called airwaves and the kex hosts artists for a few nights.

Yeah I've been to Airwaves 7 times. Not the festival it once was. Used to be way bigger but I think they were losing money hand over fist, hence the scaled back version. |

Well that's it on way to the airport it's been a great few days... Everything went well apart from losing the bus on at the first stop on the golden circle tour how did I know he was going to the 2nd carpark I came out the toilets and couldn't find the bus... But I definitely recommend the trip I got soaked by the geysir and I could see how easy it be to have a bit of play in the blue lagoon especially when it's getting darker... I saw the odd couple on their own and i did wonder
Then saw the northern lights when I came out the building and the driver made a few special stops so we can get out to take photos.
So all in all I think it was perfect.. A whale would have been nice but can't have it all.
Chasing the northern lights was fun
May plan to return next year and do different trips to the south for the black beach and glaciers |
