Procrastinator here, trying to avoid doing the work that needs to be done today. So perusing the Forum for the past couple of hours and now wondering if I should put work off further with a walk on Hamstead Heath. |

I went to make us both a bacon sarnie and came back to lots of shiny new posters here

I lurk. I generally only post if something has come into my head that I've thought is funny or interesting. Since I know I'm that funny or interesting, I keep my posts to a minimum. I do like reading what others post though, some of the comments can be very entertaining or informative.

I don't like the pejorative way 'lurker' is used on sites like Fab. I see Fab as a virtual pub or cafe. There's the dude who likes to talk loudly so everybody can hear, and the girl who dances on the bar, and the regulars in the corner who give stern looks to anybody new who comes through the door, and the mates here for a quiet catch up, and the shy girl who hopes somebody might just say hello, and the bloke in the corner with a book and a pint who occasionally looks up to see what's going on... Everybody is here for their own reasons as long as they're not nefarious should be left to get on with it. |

I see fab as an app that people use to meet or chat. If lurkers lurk no one knows. |
