Is it just me or is it common to read text in a message and mis interpretate it?
E.g "I love you" coul be read as being honest, or person typing is being sarky because they're annoyed |

Yes, I struggle with text a lot I find it difficult to read behind the lines & often misinterpret things.
I'm much better meeting people in person, it's difficult to get an idea if someone behind a keyboard.

Everything can be misinterpreted by a negative person in the same way that a positive person sees everything in a good light and personality can only be judged in person but so often here its not  |

A woman sharing pics with me asked if I was downloading the private pics..
I said no... (No reply)
Then sent a message id never do that and I'm slightly offended you'd think I'd do that.. etc . And if you're going to block me please tell me you're not upset first..
 
She eventually replies "I was just asking, in sorry"
Phew . I thought..
I said look it's all my fault, I take 100 percent responsibility for that, please do not apologise..
I was just genuinely worried about her as a person . Not being grovely just to try n shag her |

Yeah, it’s definitely difficult to try to interpret someone’s meaning over text.
There’s a rising trend online mainly used by Gen Z for “tone indicators” at the end of sentences.
So things like /srs = serious, /j = joking, /s = sarcastic. |

It can happen. It's part of why I have a soft spot for voicenotes. I can hear someone's tone, more readily understand what they're trying to convey. There's no harm in asking "what do you mean?" or taking time to try and understand it in the full context. |
