It's that time again... I've a rock and metal club night just a few weeks out and it's always good to hear the essential masterpieces people just can't go without to satisfy that rock and metal itch.
What would the staples of a rock playlist consist of if you had but a few you could choose? |

"Eyeless - Slipknot

Living’ it up - Limp Bizkit (if you’re brave enough to throw some nu-metal in there!)"
Absolutely on the nu metal, one of my favourite bands (highly suspect) belongs on any playlist I put together! |

Must haves ….
Paranoid- Black Sabbath
Back in Black- AC/DC
Smoke on the Water - Deep Purple
Wishing Well - Free
Ace of Spades - Motörhead
Purple Haze - Hendrix
A bit embarrassed I can’t think of any female artists, to be honest.
But for me all (or certainly one or two) of the above should be on a must have playlist. |

Haha glad to hear it. I know some people find it cheesy, but there’s some heavy hitters in there and that’s one of my favourites! |

Ghost are another favourite of mine... I completely understand it not being everyone's cuppa but for me it is a premium choice.
Dance macabre by ghost is definitely going to be played at rock night but so will many of peoples faves such as rammstein, motley crue, Jane's addiction etc.
It's amazing to have a night where the music is epic from start to finish. Feed off those riffs and unmistakable vocals! |
