So what do all you Beatles fans think!

Right behind you…. Boo

I actually haven’t heard it yet. I have seen more attention about it on here than I have in Main steam media.

The idea is cool. In reality it’s taking little bits of this and that and adding them together so it’s not the real Beatles collaboratarial magic I’m guessing.

What do you think OP?

It’s a John Lennon demo with overdubs by the other 3 Beatles. The video is good

Echo that.

Haven't seen the video but the track is ok.

I think it will take a few listens.

"So what do all you Beatles fans think!"

Overall 2000’s and 90’s , even until 2017 music was good and made sense.

But nowadays it’s just about drugs and women. Just an opinion and

Better than the two ‘new’ Beatles tracks released in the 90’s, but not exactly God tier.

I find it quite haunting.

The video is naff however.

There was some use of AI, specifically to identify John's voice & remove background noise from the recordings. The John Lennon bits though are actually him singing taken from old demo recordings.

The beatles are over-rated, along with Cliff Richard. Just my opinion

Wasn’t great to be honest and it didn’t need to be released, dunno why they felt the need to do it in this day and age.

You’re entitled to your opinion, no matter how wrong it might be in respect of The Beatles.

It’s a solid enough album track from the pre Abbey Road days.

The Beatles like most artists, had good & bad tracks. The reason why they were so massive though was because they were innovative. They were breaking boundaries and pushing music into new places.

Yes there are many people who are unduly obsessed with everything The Beatles ever did, but there are many other artists & recordings that might have never happened without them leadingthe way.

As a Beatles fan, I think they should have left this well alone.

pop on Rubber Soul or Abbey Road and enjoy

You weren't even born at the time these artists became well known. It's almost impossible to describe the effect they caused generally.

Cliff was ofcourse our "Elvis" and the Shadows were a top selling act in their own right. "Beatlemania" was just that manic. And they created sounds on records that had never been heard before.

It's important to remember that music evolves and technology evolves. The music of one generation both builds on and rebels against that of earlier generations.

If you say these artists are overrated ..I'd ask compared to who?

I think their records (in both terms) speak for themselves. Millions disagree with you.

I am a Beatles fan and seen publicity about this and watched a bit of the video. But I wouldn't be too quick to blame the Fab4 for its release. Its highly likely they had no say in it because other people probably own the copyright to the audio and video recordings and can do as they please without asking. Remember at one stage Michael Jackson owned the copyright to all the Beatles songs so Paul McCartney had to pay him every time he sang "Yesterday "..How annoying would that have been.

Why would you say something so controversial and yet so true?

Yoko Ono owns the rights to the demo tape that Lennon’s voice is lifted from

Billy Fury was the real British Elvis. I’ve never understood why Cliff was so popular. Maybe it was that he was so unthreatening.

If it wasn’t under the Beatles name it wouldn’t get any attention at all.

It’s ok.

Inoffensive background noise.
