Gosh that storm is epic, still not light so I can’t check for any damage!

Don’t think the storm has landed in Derbyshire yet, which is a blessing as it’s a busy day building trains and lots of climbing between coaches.

So far it's OK here! Calm night wind started at 5 it's windy but not horrendous at mo! Went to bed feeling sick in anticipation! As wind is my big fear! Since 87 hurricane! Fingers crossed it don't get to much stronger! X |

Storm going all night and day yesterday.
With it battling winds.
Drifting rain torrential
Slate tiles falling off building roof
Where is jesus to calm the storm.. I know all get naked and shout be still |

I know there’s no control over it, but I feel a little guilt at how I get it so easy up here at The Continental. We barely ever get more than a stiff breeze, and slightly heavy showers. |

I note that TW is the Northern end of the Amber or yellow wind waning (wasn't sure of tge colour when watched the BBC news with my eyes half shut).
