After talking to a male friend today, it dawned on me that so many men (not all) loose respect for women who have multiple partners. Why do you think this is? Being there seems to be no judgement when it comes to a male in that position!
After being in the swinging scene 7 years, I have heard so many comments from men that they wouldn’t date someone on here, yet they are happy to have sex with them.
Just curious and trying to understand why there is still so much judgement towards women! |

Unfortunately some men have no respect for anyone. They see women as there for their use. Therefore the more partners you have, the more you’re there for their pleasure. That’s my thought on it. |

I totally agree, but trying to understand why? Maybe I’m overthinking it, but it’s something that’s beginning to drive me mad haha |

Maybe it's not a respect thing, but a possession/jealousy thing where men worry that they don't have you to themselves if you date and you are likely to wander.
I guess it is easily enough reciprocated though and not just specific to men on women.
Who knows? Plenty of odd folk around. |

I don’t think you will ever fathom it. It’s just there. Personally I think it’s a terrible thing and should never happen. Sometimes we just have to move on. Hopefully time will sort it out. X |

I think, there probably is just as much judgement each way when it comes to the opposite sex. Plenty of women will talk quietly with their friends about the fuckboys and players that aren't worth more than a quick fuck in between proper people, just like men who only want to view more promiscuous women as sluts and an easy selection of orifices with no intent to ever have an actual relationship with them.
The difference I find more stark is how people are viewed by their own gender. Women will tear promiscuous women down in a way rarely seen by men towards promiscuous men.
Personally, I don't give a single solitary shit who else someone else has or is still sleeping with in general  |

There probably is still a large element of that discrepancy between men and women still culturally.
Can we just say that's slut-shaming and wrong? I think it's probably that simple.
Like my mate says: If you think I'm a slut and don't respect me, why do you want to fuck me and what does that say about you? |

Just wait around and you will see both men and women say they will never date from here. People are good enough to fuck, but not good enough for anything else.
"I couldn't trust them" is one reason. Personally, I'd be more likely to trust someone who is transparent about their needs up front. |

I would like to think attitudes will change going forward with sites like OF making it more acceptable to be associated with the industry.
Younger people growing up with it being part of society something most of us haven't had previously.
And with sex talk being more open and freely available I think the stigma of the a "sex worker" will hopefully diminish as old stereotypes die with the people who created them.
Unfortunately some will always look down and judge others regardless of how hard you work to make your money.

Sexually adventurous women are great to fuck around with but not great to take home to meet their mummy.
I wouldn't date anyone off here as I wouldn't trust them not to fuck around. Perhaps they feel the same.

Its not just men who judge women, other women judge women too.
What does surprise me is how many men think they need to ask other men's permission to date their ex/sister/friend. Its almost as if men feel they collectively own women's sex lives.

Unpopular opinion but... one word. Insecurity.
People would rather compare themselves than trust their partner. Isnt all their fault though with the whats hot and whats not crap being pumped into TV film music videos social media etc. |

Not necessarily! Although I would be open to it if the opportunity was there!
I wouldn’t judge a man for being on here. I know people change and adjust depending on their circumstances and situations. As I would, cause I’d have someone to consider other than myself.

Because men are very black and white. Most men in this lifestyle wouldn't want their future wife doing this so they can never look at you as someone who would date. They treat people they date and people they have sex with very differently. |
