What kind of higher power do you believe in?
(Excluding the complicated female soul and the power of the vag, arse and boobs guys)
Some kind of god?
Karma?
Luck?
Fate ?
Destiny?
Aliens?
Controlled by Chemtrails, news, governments...etc?
Are you changing your views when something bad or good happens in your life?

I believe that any 'power' of the supernatural sort actually comes from within our 'self'. Its not higher but humans are terrible at accepting responsibility for their own actions and need something to blame bad stuff on and to thank for good stuff, so they invent an outside force.
Life can be good and terrible and everything in between, there's noone in charge of it but ourselves and the chaotic whims of a non sentient universe |

"I don’t believe in any of those things
Actually maybe luck but only in the sense of winning the lottery and things like that.
Don't you need luck for other things?"
In what way? I’m not keen on the way the word is used sometimes. Depends on context. People say you’re so lucky to do/have certain things. When most things really aren’t down to luck. |

True.
People tell me I'm lucky to have retired early. It wasn't luck it was investing in a private pension and downsizing from a house we both worked our socks off to buy.
Luck in my opinion applies to random occurences |

Luck can be other peoples actions, so yes, it's more complicated. |

I never believed in any of these things, but I’m coming around to the possibility of aliens. |

"Statistics and probability - random stuff happens but if I am smart then I can work to change the probabilities in my favour.
Luck and yourself?
"
Randomness not luck. Randomness can be shaped but it can’t be controlled. People who are “lucky” are really just good at shaping randomness. |

I suppose you could argue that luck came into it by both of us being born at a time where all that was possible |
