How many of you have a craft or hobby that you are particularly proud of?

Mr makes things from leather, collars, masks, restraints and what ever takes his fancy.

Mrs is a crochet queen and has made some kink related items too.

I build and paint large scale aircraft, which most turn out pretty spectacular if I do say so myself.

I'm not an expert but i can do the basics of a lot of crafts, mostly as presents. Taught myself to knit and to crochet (cuddly toys/hats). Do a bit of drawing/painting every now and then. I also make my own Xmas cards. Usually if I see something online and think I could do it myself I'll give it a go.

A long time I used to make scale model boats, all RC and a variety of things from fishing boats & harbour tugs to warships

Haven’t had the time to do it for years now

Great thread. I do a bit of work with green wood carving (result of lockdown boredom). It's very therapeutic and reminds me how good it is to focus on something for an extended period.

Would love to turn wood too.

Not crafty but I love Bonsai trees and have quite a few now. Some are really specialist and hard to look after so the satisfaction level is through the roof when they’re thriving

I sometimes make affirmation boards/read tarot for myself and others. Another fav is money tree pictures - £5 notes for leaves, pennies for the trunk, rolled up notes for the branches/roots and more pennies for the earth. Hung it up & gave thanks to it every morning for a week and actually that year was extremely good for me financially!

I’m not good enough to call myself a photographer but I have a decent camera and enjoy it.

Spent years making chainmail jewellery, Mistress and i made a flogger using a wooden dowel and a back panel from a biker jacket for a friend's birthday when we couldn't afford a gift.

Not been creative in a while but got a 3D printer to set up. And bought some resin molding kits too. Including paddles lol

Sounds like you are both very creative

I draw, I love to draw, usually Children's characters from books, I can pretty much draw anything from The Gruffalo and the characters to Winnie the Pooh and Friends. My wall at work is covered in a Gruffalo scene

I also love photography, usually photographing landscapes and interesting features I see. Love going to random places with my camera and just having a day taking photos or taking the dog out for a photoshoot

I buy very expensive 3D printed resin models, 1/9 scale usually of horses or dogs and then customise them for people. I've also taken up journaling as my friend makes the most amazing hand crafted leather journals.

I play on multiple instruments (not really well).

Writing / recording songs nobody ever heard of.

Someday a used condom, a pair of sock, a sex video, a guitar pick from me might worth a lot.

Grab your chance!

Auditioning for future groupies.

I've found the best place to start with any new hobby is wish, cheap and crap tools but it lets you what you will be using for what interests you. Than when you have an idea of what tools you use the most go to the hobby shops for an upgrade.

I just got a £65 skiving knife and I love it

Just means fresh wood - it hasn't been dried out so easier to manipulate with hand tools (sloyd knife and spoon gouge in my case)
