Prompted by an earlier message about body mass percentages Vs penis size.
I've decided to approximate peniseses mathematically.
Assuming a blood filled vessel that's modelled as a simple cylinder, it's volume (p.radius².length) can be calculated.
Let's assume an above average 10 inch product equating to 25.4cm in length with a 7.5 inch girth (19cm) circumference (slightly smaller than a can of ) equating to a 3cm radius. We estimate the volume to be around 720cm³. It's mass translates directly to a 0.7kg product.
This represents (roughly) 1% of the body mass of a 70kg (11 stone) adult. I say roughly because the redistribution of blood would have an effect.
Congolese men average 7.1 inches (controversial). With a more reasonable 4.6 inch girth equates to a product that's slightly under 0.2kg
I hope this has been informative.

For a long time I have been of the opinion that the fairest way to measure cocks is by volume and the obvious 'Eureka' method would be by displacement of water in a suitable measuring vessel.
The gymnastics involved have kept me from bothering but don't think it hasn't crossed my mind! |

I think the displacement method is going to be closer to the real world experience that we get, when we get to feel it inside of us |

"I hate that this is the first question that popped into my head, but where did you get the density?"
You're absolutely correct in asking this question. The average density of blood is 0.994?g/mL ± 0.032?g. I made the assumption that this was close enough to water.
I appreciate the model is lacking, there's approximations throughout. |

"You'll always find me in the kitchen at parties..."
(Only joking, OP. Impressive effort!) |

Yeah, I assumed. So, you're approximating a penis with a cylindrical test tube of blood. To improve the model, I'd look into the percentage of a penis that is skin and tissue because I doubt it's mostly blood. That should give a better estimate of density. The cylinder approximation for volume is probably alright though. |

I'm mindful of the fact that it is the OP's thread and that his interest is in
mass rather than volume. Not that the two aren't related.
However, I'm rather partial to the phrase 'Massive hard on', so in that context mass could be more important than volume. |

" Now this is a fascinating topic. So much better than "what size dick do women want?".
Is there a reason you did a comparison with Congolese men? "
Published materials on the size of one's penis almost unanimously conclude that Congolese men are top of god's blessings. |

To add another x/y x (z)/r... my cock seems to float in the bath, I can't remember it sinking anyway |

What a delicious way to describe it. Thank you. |
