Over the seas and far away

Is anybody else fed up with those who solicit fabs? No matter how hot the pic, I won't fab if the subject is asking for it.

I’m not fed up of it, I can easily click the back button.

I do find it a little tragic that the obsession with getting to page 1, as if it’s some sort of badge of honour.

A bit like the anti Christmas number 1 campaigns, perhaps I ought to upload a crap picture and campaign for everyone to fab me to page 1.

It’s a small protest, but you do what you can.

I didn't realise it was a thing.

But you just post the picture you can't caption it or anything so how do people try and get people to fab it?

I thought you just posted it and then that was it really.

That minstrels one would get a lot of traction all things considered.

Depends if they are dragging you kicking and screaming to do it. I don't fab unless it is for one of those fun threads that people do to be part of it. I was very surprised when I got some fabs too. It is just what people like to do sometimes. Very rarely a guy might get insecure by another guy fabbing but see that as their issue tbh. Life is too short.

Perhaps 'fed up' was not quite the right way to express my response - it definitely doesn't keep me awake at night. I guess I was just making and observation about that aspect of contemporary digital culture that considers affirmation from a bunch of strangers in the cybersphere important.

"Is anybody else fed up with those who solicit fabs? No matter how hot the pic, I won't fab if the subject is asking for it."

Some people have an exhibitionist kink and really get off on having thousands of fabs.

Writing a 'fab if you'd...' is a pretty much guaranteed way of getting the fabs.

Some people get an ego boost from it.

Some men really love to know their partner is being appreciated.

Whatever their reasons are for doing it, it's all OK because it doesn't hurt anyone else. Just don't fab pictures you don't want to fab, scroll on, and let others use fab how they see fit and enjoy

I actually do this with pop up adverts on YT etc.

I then intentionally not buy that product or alternative.

Just doing my little bit to fight consumerism. If everyone does the same we can defeat this tyrannical force of oppresion.

Haha I too refuse to buy anything which has forced me to watch an advert.

Everyone's here for a sense of validation and acceptance, some more obvious that others like those you are alluding to. A simple scroll past those pics, suffice for me.
