"Nope England were just sore at losing by one point in the dying seconds of the match "
I don’t even think it’s the team moaning, just the sore losing fans. |

I think the way it's been handled hadn't been as those at that level would expect where it to have been alleged the other way round..
Both parties should be allowed the chance to give their recollection on what they heard..
Looks like with some of the inconsistency that's been apparent throughout the tournament the governing body wanted it out the way before the final which is understandable but it should be done so no party feels left out of that process.. |

Players are taught that if you hear/see something you say something. That's exactly what Curry did.
It now appears that this has occurred before in an earlier game, these are serious accusations & World Rugby has done no-one any favours by sweeping it under the carpet.
A cynic may think this is a game ploy by SA to get Curry to react & be sent off, & that England Rugby are aware of this & have coached Curry to report to the ref.
Either way, the overt racism on display from a sector of SA fans has been frankly disgusting. |

"It’s a misunderstanding
A word that sounds like cunt means side in Afrikaans
He was saying watch the side basically "
It might have been trouble is without due process it's down to perception and just fester's..

"It's his word again the other.
Would a different outcome if it was a white person saying it to a black person?
Racist comments happen, they shouldn't but they do.
"
Of course it would be different.
Sad to see so many wanting it ignored. Racism is not a one way offence no matter what people say. |

"Reports he said white side in Afrkiaans which sounds like wite kant"
The real issue is the rugby authorities seemingly sweeping a potential use of racist language towards a player, under the carpet. It’s easy for the accused to say “I wasn’t being racist by saying white side” but in reality, knew he could use that exact defence against it. |

"Are we really in a society where 18 stone men who smash each other on the rugby pitch for 40 minutes are offended by opposition language?"
.
I didn't watch the brown medal, but wasn't this about racist language?
When you hinge on the word 'society' Tom, you make 'opposition language' sound as much like black vs white as woke vs men.

As a Saffa who has lived here 20 years this was a cultural misunderstanding in my view. South Africans wouldn’t use ‘cunt’ as the go to insult, it’s not a common swear word like over here. They say poes. So I tend to believe that he really did say ‘wit kant’ meaning white side which obviously sounded to an Englishman like ‘white cunt’. If he wanted to insult him instinct would have led to choosing several other words first!
Plus racism is such a big no-no and the Bokke are seen as the glue who holds the nation together they would be hyper careful not to be racist. I think Curry was right to raise it but it was a genuine moment of ‘lost in translation’ |

To meet ex rugby player any captain that gives 10 meters at a penalty has lost the game.tKe it on the chin. The male the point g to the ref T the next brake down so you can't be penalised. No Farral had to get in the refs face .
So where was ford he kicked England to a wi but was then dropped. England where barerd at the scrum. Game management is key in the 22 kick a drop gole take 3 and build from the drop out. |
